Our Staff: our Spanish teachers are all qualified and certified in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Their goal is to help you acquire the language in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Facility: Open Access Language Center is located in a beautiful colonial house in one of the most prestige neighborhoods of Cartagena. Our facilities combine colonial and modern architecture offering state-of-the-art technology, fully networked classrooms and an excellent 24-hour library that will allow professors and student to use instructional technologies to foster and facilitate the acquisition process.
Assistance: Open Access has its own mobile phone number (+57 312 725 1232) to help candidate students 24/7. Our aim is to offer a personalized service covering various aspects of students’ stay in Cartagena, such as accommodation, travel plans, transportation, cultural events, customs and the like.
Extracurricular activities: outings to squares, the walled city, museums, attractions and more make part of our extracurricular activities.

Tuition: Our tuition fee includes student textbooks, 2 Salsa classes and an outing to visit either the walled- city or the different squares of the city. Additional extracurricular activities can be included for a special fee depending on the outgoing and the expenses.

Our courses are evaluated as follows:
Quizzes 20%, homework & class assignments 20%, final written exam 30% (WE) and final oral exam 30% (OE). Quizzes are given towards the end of each unit. Final exams are given at the end of each course.
When a student completes a Spanish level, Open Access Language Center will issue an attendance certificate stating the level he/she completed and how many of instruction he took. For an additional price, students may ask for their transcript. To find out their language proficiency level, Open Access cannot certify language proficiency levels based on a class taken with us. Therefore, students must register and take the DELE® exam at our language center on previously scheduled dates.
